Dr. Melissa Piliang, MD, FAAD, is the Chairman of Dermatology at Cleveland Clinic. She earned her medical degree from Indiana University and completed her dermatology residency and dermatopathology fellowship at Cleveland Clinic. Board-certified in dermatology and dermatopathology, she specializes in alopecia areata, acne, psoriasis, and skin cancer. Her research focuses on autoimmune mechanisms and genetic predispositions. Dr. Piliang is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (FAAD).
