Alexander Ivanovich Litus (Ukraine, May 7, 1967, Brovary, Kiev region, Ukraine) - Ukrainian dermatologist, leading dermatologist of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, doctor of medical sciences, professor of the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after PL Shupik. In 2008 he initiated and founded the All-Ukrainian public organization "Ukrainian Association of Psoriasis." He is the editor-in-chief of the specialized medical journal "Dermatologist."
-Scientific activity
In 1991, Alexander Litus completed an internship in the specialty of derma-venereology. Five years later he defended his thesis on specialty "skin and venereal diseases" on the topic "Features of local immunity in various clinical forms of chronic infectious prostatitis and pathogenetically caused therapy of the disease." In 2004 he defended his doctoral thesis on the specialty "skin and venereal diseases" on the topic "Diagnosis and treatment of chronic prostatitis, taking into account the polyetiological mechanisms of development and the nature of the disease." In 2006 I passed the courses of professional development at the International Institute of Management.
To date, Alexander Litus is the author of 49 printed scientific works.

Since 2008, Alexander Litus was a professor of the Department of Skin and Sexually Transmitted Diseases of the Uzhgorod National University, and in 2012 he became a professor at the National Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education named after PL Shupik. Also, Alexander Litus is the chief freelance specialist of the Ukrainian Ministry of Health, specializing in derma-venereology; an advisor to the Minister of Health of Ukraine; an adviser to the president of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine on innovations; a vice president of the Ukrainian Academy of Dermatovenereology. Alexander Litus is the editor-in-chief of the medical journal Dermatologist.
